Carel-Piet van Eeden
Holistic life counseling, doctor of ethnomedicine
As an Integrative Practitioner, Carel-Piet has a passion for studying and accessing the brilliance of the mind and bringing that into everyday life with the people who come to see him for sessions. Each session is seen as a journey into finding the best version of what a person can be, through whichever modality of grouping thereof.
He started his journey in integrative and energy medicine in 2001 through Shiatsu and Reiki. He continued on to become an Independent Reiki Master and has been teaching this form of energy medicine since 2005.
Carel-Piet completed his Ph.D and qualified in Holistic Life Counselling in December 2012 through the University of Sedona. After experiencing the trauma of cancer first-hand, Carel-Piet decided to leave his corporate position as legal business analyst and focus on the field of integrative medicine. Together with the team at the Golding Institute, he works to provide evidence-based integrative solutions and training for healthcare providers and patients alike.
Because of an undeniable calling, Carel-Piet is also an ordained Priest in the Order of the White Robed Monks of St Benedict and offers the Sacraments to all who ask. Being able to bring an element of spirituality into a medical setting has seen many positive changes for patients and practitioners.
Being the eternal student, he has been adding to his repertoire of modalities ever since. This has culminated in qualifications and courses in, among others:
- Core Regeneration
- Karuna Reiki
- Neuro Linguistic Programming
As a practitioner, Carel-Piet focuses on a wide array of challenges people face. Because of his diverse training, the challenges addressed in sessions are many and include:
- Lifestyle management
- Genetic testing
- Emotional counseling
- Life Coaching
- Spiritual support
Because of the combinations of disciplines that he includes in his sessions, many of the people who come to see him are practitioners in own right.
